Rent a boat in Tenerife, by the hour, from Los Gigantes
We hire out boats by the hour in Los Gigantes, on the west coast of Tenerife: 5-metre boats to skipper yourself, from 2 to 6 hours, and a skippered private charter for up to 9 people. You set off from the marina, with the Los Gigantes cliffs right in front of you.
What you can hire
- Silver 555, self-drive. 5 metres, up to 6 people. Trips of 2, 3, 4 or 6 hours, fuel included.
- Private charter, with skipper. 8 metres, up to 9 people. Professional skipper and fuel included. 3 hours, 6 hours or a full day.
By the hour: durations and times
Self-drive boats leave between 10:00 and 17:00 and are back by 20:00 at the latest. The charter leaves at 10:30 or 13:45.
Prices are per boat, not per person. They change by season and duration, so each day's price is on the boat's page.
Boat rental in Tenerife without a licence
From 1 October 2026, skippering a rental boat yourself requires a nautical licence anywhere in Spain. If you do not hold one, the private charter goes out with a professional skipper on board and requires no licence from you. If you would like to get one, we are preparing a course in Los Gigantes.
What to see from Los Gigantes
To the north, the cliff coast up to Masca bay, at the foot of the gorge and reached by sea. Off Los Gigantes, whales and dolphins that live in these waters all year round.
Booking and cancellation
You book and pay online, on each boat's page. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before departure, and if the weather does not allow a safe trip, you can move the date or get a full refund.
